Questions
MoonCow Tabs puts your open Safari and Chrome tabs in one searchable list on your Mac. Press a global shortcut, type a few letters, and jump to the right tab in seconds — without hunting through browser windows.
MoonCow Tabs is a Mac-only app for Safari and Chrome tabs currently open on your Mac. It does not replace your browser — it helps you find and switch tabs faster.
Safari works through Apple’s extension system. Chrome requires the separate MoonCow Tabs for Chrome extension in each regular Chrome profile you use.
No account required. Tab titles and URLs stay on your Mac for the core app to work. MoonCow Interactive does not receive your browsing data.
Optional analytics and crash reporting are off by default and never include URLs, tab titles, or page content. See MoonCow Tabs app privacy and Chrome extension privacy for details.
Free to try. The free tier includes 10 tab switches per day — enough to see if MoonCow Tabs fits your workflow.
On the first three days you reach the daily limit, switching stays unlimited until tomorrow. A one-time Pro upgrade removes the daily limit permanently.
Only if you want Chrome tabs in MoonCow Tabs. Safari works without any Chrome setup.
Install MoonCow Tabs for Chrome from the Chrome Web Store in each regular Chrome profile whose tabs you want to see, then turn on syncing in the extension options. Guest windows and profiles without the extension are not supported.
- Download MoonCow Tabs from the Mac App Store.
- Enable the Safari extension when prompted and allow tab access.
- Choose a global activation shortcut in Settings → Shortcuts.
- Optional: install the Chrome extension for Chrome tabs.
That’s it — open MoonCow Tabs with your shortcut and start searching.
Detailed guides, keyboard shortcuts, and browser troubleshooting live inside the app — open MoonCow Tabs and use the in-app Help section.
This website focuses on overview and pre-sale questions. After install, the app is the best place for step-by-step setup and fixing connection issues.
Email support@mooncowinteractive.com with your macOS version and a short description of the issue.
If something isn’t working, use Settings → General → Copy troubleshooting info in MoonCow Tabs and paste it into your message. It includes connector status and settings — not your browsing history or tab URLs.
